Diaspora vote, CEC starts registration, Celibashi appeals for changes to the Code

January 11 marked the beginning of the registration procedure for Albanians living abroad who want to vote in the parliamentary elections on May 11. The Central Election Commission announced that the process is continuing normally and that no anomalies have been observed during online applications.

Each request will have to receive approval from the CEC before being approved, but even in case of rejection, there is still the possibility to reapply.

However, in order to ensure the functioning of voting from abroad, Celibashi appealed to the parliamentary parties for some amendments to the Electoral Code.

If this technology is working, for another there is not yet an electronic decision-making, voting and counting, for which the CEC is still taking time to decide in which electoral district it will be applied. (A2 Televizion)
