This response by the Speaker of the Assembly, Elisa Spiropali, to the Central Election Commission, which refers to the results of the April 25, 2021 elections and not to the de facto alliances in Parliament, regarding the distribution of mandates between political parties, has caused dissatisfaction among the opposition.

Based on Spiropali's letter that defines Tom Doshi's PSD as an opposition party, the Democratic Party considers it a pre-prepared plan, a violation of the truth, and a double-edged violation of equality in elections.

"The goal is to steal an opposition counter in the upcoming elections and to pass it to Doshi, who will be removed as an opposition party, but will campaign, count and extort for the NarkoRama majority. This falsification contradicts dozens of decisions of the CEC and the Electoral College, which determine that self-declaration does not make one an opposition, but the support it gives to government initiatives in the Assembly," said the Secretary for Legal Affairs in the DP, Ivi Kaso.

Kaso considers this act of Spiropali a violation of the law and a desecration of the role of the Speaker of the Assembly.

"Citizens know who Tom Doshi has aligned himself with from Tirana to Shkodra, from 2011 to 2025. Analysts can open the online documentation of the CEC and see that, even on paper, the Rama-Doshi alliance is fixed. Elisa of the Mad knows all this, but she does it to please her boss, to undermine the May 11 elections, and to help the Socialist Party with another crutch."

While calling the exchange of letters between the Assembly and the CEC a scandal, the secretary for legal affairs at the Democratic Party warns Spiropal of filing a lawsuit with SPAK for abuse and misuse of office, as well as forgery. (A2 Televizion)
