Tedi Blushi, Secretary General of the Freedom Party, invited to the "Off the Record" studio with Andrea Dangli, on A2 CNN, showed how Ilir Meta is leading the Freedom Party's campaign from prison.
"Mr. Ilir Meta is in conditions of extreme isolation, without criminal evidence. Mr. Meta is being prevented from communicating normally not only with the leaders of the PL, but also with his sympathizers. This isolation occurred because Edi Rama is afraid of the electoral strength of Mr. Meta and the Freedom Party. Using SPAK, he also isolated the PL. But, the PL is on the ground every second, its members throughout Albania are on the ground, doing the historic task of rotation," said Blushi.
According to him, Mr. Meta's role continues to remain "the leader of the Freedom Party, even under conditions of isolation."
"Mr. Meta has become today an inspiring symbol of freedom. He has transformed the cell he is in into a trench against this narco-regime. He makes every effort and sacrifices, from the most extreme, to bring about the rotation," Blushi emphasized.
