On Monday, the Democrats and Socialists will face off in the laws committee over the package of changes to the electoral code that provide financial and procedural facilities for emigrants to vote.
From Shkodra, the Chairwoman of the Laws Committee Klotilda Bushka made it clear to the Democrats that the Socialist Party does not see the need for further negotiations as long as the Albanian diaspora benefits.
Even for the People's Advocate, there does not seem to be room for political dialogue between the main forces, as Bushka himself admits that the SP does not have a preferred name.
If none of the names receive 84 votes in the February 13 session, as has happened over the past 2 years, the procedure for the Ombudsman will have to start again from the beginning, from the application, the committee hearings to the name preferred by politicians. (A2 Televizion)
