International calls to politics to return parliamentary normality, through dialogue, seem to have fallen on deaf ears. The Socialist Deputy Speaker of the Assembly, Ermonela Felaj, in an interview on A2CNN, expressed her determination that the opposition cannot impose itself on the majority by protesting in the Parliament.
"Is there a call for dialogue? Agreed. But dialogue cannot be established on the basis of violent actions and on the basis of the impositions they require. How long have they decided with themselves where they are? Which party do they belong to? Who is this party and who is their leader? We will continue to see such manifestations, but the work will continue", said Felaj.
Regarding the Reestablishment chapter, it is not possible to negotiate on the respect or not of the Constitution. Therefore, Sali Berisha thinks that the only way is its implementation.
"What a negotiation. There are no negotiations with the Constitution. Apply the Constitution. We are looking for anything extra. Only the Constitution. The decisions should be clarified", said Berisha.
The socialist Felaj reacted to this attitude of Berisha, showing him that for the majority he is a red line. While the former prime minister, on the other hand, shows that he has no intention of taking steps behind.
"Mr. Berisha should forget that he represents something that would force the majority to sit down in dialogue. Mr. Berisha does not exist. Let Mr. Berisha solve his problems with justice", declared Felaj.
Even the name Gazment Bardhit as a potential interlocutor in the dialogue does not change the approach of the majority. As a solution, the Speaker of the Assembly shows the opposition the door of the Constitutional Court.
"The path that should be followed by all those who do not agree with our decision is to turn to the Constitutional Court. No one has prevented them there."
The lack of will to reduce tensions and find political agreement was also shown in the response that the majority gave to the opposition's action in Monday's session, with the exception of 4 democratic deputies, headed by Gazmend Bardhi, Flamur Nokë, Bledion Nallbatin and Flamur Hoxha.
Socialists in the ethics secretariat thanked the two female democratic colleagues Albana Vokshin and Sorina Koti.
