The work of state institutions to supervise the development of the territory has not been done properly. This is acknowledged by Prime Minister Rama himself, who, after inspecting several areas in the country and ordering the demolition of unauthorized constructions, announced on social networks that the territory will be subject to a new scheme.
Rama does not talk about measures against officials who have collaborated with the occupiers or turned a blind eye, but announces legal changes, writes A2 CNN.
"Tolerance towards occupied lands at the expense of the community or permits with violations at the expense of the city, which have been accepted by local government as fellow travelers of urban life, while territorial protection inspectorates and municipal police have in most cases become part of the problem, will be radically addressed with a new legal reform of territorial control and development," said Rama.
He sees the reforms as necessary for the path towards Brussels and claims that they will also extend to other sectors that affect citizens' daily lives.
"We have started work in parallel with several new reforms of the drinking water service, the waste cleaning and processing system, the supply of oil and medicines to the people, as well as the hospital service, which will be the entry points on the path of our fourth mandate for Albania 2030 in the European Union," said Rama.
For several days now, the head of government has ordered municipalities in the country, in cooperation with the responsible authorities, to "cleanse" cities from the occupations of businesses that have long been continuing their activities in excess of the permits they have. (A2 Televizion)
