Diaspora vote/ Concerns in the SP about the low registration of women,

At the headquarters of the Socialist Party, the meeting of political leaders was held this morning like every Monday, with Prime Minister Edi Rama who was not physically present but addressed the attendees online.

Even the political leaders were not all physically present, as some are still in Greece, stopping in areas with more Albanians to help them register on the platform set up by the CEC for the vote of immigrants.

A2 CNN reporter Fjorela Beleshi reported that the meeting discussed the situation in Greece and Italy, where there are more immigrants and the SP is the most concentrated, since at the weekend they went to the main areas to see if there are Albanians beyond the list of contacts that the pink seat weighs as a sure voter for the majority.

The aim of SP is to attract Albanians who are abroad by offering technical assistance, setting up offices in Athens and the region of Puglia to assist those who have no knowledge of how the registration process works.

So far, about 8,500 Albanians have registered in the CEC application, reports A2 CNN. What stands out is the marked difference between men and women in these first two days of registration.

The number of women who have registered is much lower than men, and according to Belesh, this has worried the Socialists, who aim to convince everyone, not just heads of households, to register as voters.

"This was one of the tips or recommendations in the meeting, to convince the Albanians to register as a family," revealed the A2 CNN journalist. (A2 Televizion)
