In the second week of April, the sending of ballots to the 245,808 Albanians in the Diaspora, registered to vote in the May 11 elections, is expected to begin.
The CEC approved the production of the number of ballots from abroad, which will be the same for the 12 regions as what will be used domestically.
After arriving from Slovenia, the ballots will be placed in the appropriate envelopes at the Olympic Park premises, which will also serve for their counting.
After this process, envelopes with a unique code will fly to 85 countries, where the highest number of registered Albanians living in Italy, Greece, Germany, the United Kingdom and the USA.
In addition to filling out the ballot correctly and not damaging it, immigrants will have to bring the envelope to Albania by 7:00 PM on voting day.
Meanwhile, in several other election decisions, the CEC today sent 16 candidates to the General Prosecutor's Office for verification. Most of them belong to the "Albania Becomes" coalition and four others to Tom Doshi's Party. (A2 Televizion)
