Winter is officially over, but the flu is not yet. Respiratory infections continue to circulate, causing an influx of patients, especially in the pediatric age group, writes A2 CNN.
At health centers, the number of patients is not as high as in January-February, when the flu epidemic peaked. However, doctors say that visits remain high, as the flu season is not over.
In addition to the flu, which was more aggressive this year, other infections were also circulating, even viruses that we often encounter in the summer season. Doctors at health centers say that there were also cases of meningitis in children, which according to them passed without serious problems.
The flu season lasts until the end of March. With the onset of spring and the blooming of flowers, doctors expect an increase in cases of seasonal allergies, which in Tirana are quite high in all age groups. (A2 Televizion)
