The famous American magazine Forbes has announced through its X platform, Linda Rama's participation in the Forbes 2025 Summit taking place in Abu Dhabi on the occasion of International Women's Day.
Invited to the summit are personalities from politics, art, civil society, and business from about 50 countries around the world.
Economist, rights advocate, wife of the Albanian Prime Minister, spoke with Mika Brzezinski on the topic "The Power Behind Progress" at the Forbes30/50 summit, Forbes writes.
Mika Brzezinski became known as a field correspondent during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. She is currently the host of the "Morning Joe" program on the American television channel MSNBC.
After explaining the situation during communism, Linda emphasized that the biggest problem inherited from communism was not poverty, but social trauma.
"After the chaos and uncertainty of 1991 from the collapse of the system, she underlined that the greatest lessons we learned were from suffering, and learning from suffering is painful and costly."
"Let's teach children to value rights and protect them," said Linda Rama, drawing attention to the fact that everyday life should not distract us from efforts to advance rights in the era of the technological and digital revolution.
"In our transition, we have not been alone, the democratic world has been and is with us. Albanians and Albania have managed to sit down at the negotiating table for membership in the European Union today. We are the country with the highest growth in tourism in Europe. Visit Albania.
