5 thousand lek is the bonus for seniors who receive a pension of over 20 thousand lek, and 10 thousand lek for those who receive a pension of up to 20 thousand lek. Many pensioners have called it a voting bonus before the May 11 elections.
However, they tell us how they will spend the 5 or 10 thousand lek reward: "We will buy medicine."
On the second day of the spring bonus distribution, there were no queues or increased flow at post offices or banks. However, pensioners have until the end of September to withdraw their spring bonus.
