This episode in "Diagnoza" with Freskida Miloti we talk about the symptoms of viruses in children. Invited to the studio, pediatrician Edi Tushe from the Vera - Virhov Clinic explains that the symptoms are mostly simple and the most important of them is the temperature.

"...It's a cough during the winter, it's nasal secretions, often for example joint pain or muscle pain or headache, depending on how big the child is and how he perceives them. Of course, basically it is a health situation which probably disrupts the daily routine of the child."

For the relief of symptoms in children, the pediatrician brings halotherapy, or salt therapy, as an example.

Of course, it is not a simple salt, it is not a machine that produces a simple salt, but it is certain salts, which, thanks to the ions they create, are able to cause a positive effect on the lungs.

"In Albania I know that only we have it, or that it is used for genuine medical purposes, but that normally in the world it has started and there is an installation almost year after year of the highest of this type of therapy," explains Tushe .

But how to distinguish a virus from a bacterial infection? The doctor explains that there are some indirect signs.

"Clinical signs in virosis are mostly sensational, they are in the extreme, all things without waiting without remembering are high, they can also happen to microbes, but generally microbes are very cunning, they find ground in which the child is weaker and they start attacking him. After 5 days, if there is a rise in temperature, a worsening of the situation, we are careful in this regard because it could be bacterial."

Usually what proves it and separates it are the microbiological tests which are very specific.   (A2 Televizion)
