The central defender of the Italian national team and Inter, Alessandro Bastoni, has become the most valuable defender in the world.
Following in the footsteps of Alessandro Nesta and Leonardo Bonucci, the black and blue center back, according to market values determined by Trasfermarkt, has climbed to the top of the special ranking.
His value is estimated at €80 million. No one has done better than Bastoni, but he still remains €20 million short of the record set by Virgil Van Dijk with Liverpool in 2019, where Transfermarkt valued the Dutch giant at €100 million. (A2 Televizion)
