It's now official. Albania and Serbia are the two host countries of the European U-21 Championship in 2027. After confirmation from UEFA, the news was made official by the Albanian Football Federation itself, which confirmed through a post that Albania has been selected by UEFA as one of the countries that will host the European Under-21 Championship.
Although the Federation's post does not mention Serbia at any point as the organizing country, these two countries have been decided by the European football government to welcome this important competition, writes A2 CNN.
According to the program, the tournament will take place in June 2027 and will include the 16 best teams in Europe, including famous players who play in the best European leagues. The stadiums where the matches of the U-21 European Championship will be held are “Loro Boriçi” in Shkodër, “Arena Egnatia” in Rrogozhina and “Elbasan Arena”, while the Grand Final will be played at the “Arena Kombëtare” in Tirana.
As a host country, the Albanian national team, led by Alban Bushi, will have the opportunity to be represented in a major tournament for the first time.
