
Spanish media have released footage from the scene of the tragic accident that took the life of Liverpool star Diogo Jota after his Lamborghini veered off the road in northern Spain.
According to preliminary reports, it is suspected that one of the Lamborghini's tires exploded during an overtaking on the A-52 highway near the town of Cernadilla, near Zamora, in northwestern Spain, near the border with Portugal, writes A2 CNN.
The luxury car veered off the road, overturned and burst into flames shortly after 12:30 a.m. on Thursday. Emergency services were called immediately, but were unable to save the two brothers.
Shocking footage shows the charred remains of the supercar, overturned on the side of a main road, as emergency crews are seen investigating at the scene.
A video obtained by Spanish media shows the trajectory of the car until it leaves the road and crashes, bursting into flames. Tire tracks show where the Lamborghini left the road, while pieces of the central barrier are scattered on the ground. (A2 Televizion)
