Diogo Jota began his career in Portugal and after transfers to Atletico Madrid, Porto and Wolverhampton, from 2020 he was a protagonist at Liverpool, a team with which he had just won the Premier League.
With Liverpool, Diogo Jota played 182 games, scoring 65 goals. With the Reds, he also won a Community Shield, a King's Cup and two League Cups.
He was also selected by the Portugal national team, with whom he won the Nations League twice (2018/19 and 2024/25).
Diogo Jota, who died in a road accident in Spain, was married on June 22, leaving behind his wife and their 3 children.
