The investigation into the betting issue that has shaken the world of football in Italy for several weeks is expanding.
Alessandro Florenzi has also entered the list of suspects of the Turin prosecutor's office. The defender of Milan is accused of illegal involvement in games of chance or betting, a crime provided for in Article 4 of Law 401 of 1989.
The player will be interrogated in the following days, as the scandal in Italian football has already reached enormous proportions.
Florenzi's name joins Nicolò Fagioli, Sandro Tonali and Nicolò Zaniolo. The first two have already negotiated with the federal prosecutor a disqualification of ten and seven months respectively, while the Aston Villa striker, before the sports justice system, has always defended himself by claiming that he never bet on football.
