Another Dwamena case has been recorded in world football. After the tragic death on the field during the Egnatia-Partizani challenge of the Ghanaian striker, the heart of another African football star has stopped beating.
It is about the "gentle giant", the former goalkeeper of the Zimbabwe national team, George Chigova, who passed away at the age of 32.
The giant of the gate has been found dead at his home in South Africa, and is suspected to have died of a heart attack.
Chigova suffered a heart attack not far from July of this year and for a while tried to return to football.
Nicknamed "Zikeeper", he kept 32 caps for Zimbabwe during his career, making several appearances at the Africa Cup of Nations. Chigova also won the COSAFA Cup with Zimbabwe in 2017 and 2018.
Chigova spent most of his career at club level in the South African Premier Division with SuperSport United and Polokwane City. (A2 Televizion)
