Around 170 mountaineering athletes participated in the mountain climb in Bogë of the Greater Highlands and Theth in Shkodra.
The Albanian Federation of Mountaineering and Mountain Tourism held a two-day national activity in the Albanian Alps, writes A2.
In addition to local participants, there were also foreigners or children, who were surprised by the beauty of our Alps.
"For me, it's the second time I've come and it's just like in the Swiss Alps. I'm enjoying it a lot, wonderful nature and very beautiful places. I'll tell all my friends to come and enjoy it because it's fantastic," declares a 13-year-old.
Due to its massiveness, the climbers were divided into three groups, while the final point of this climb was the twin peaks of Theth.
Teams from Shkodra, Tirana, Elbasan, Vlora, Puka, Berat, Përmet and Korça participated in the national activity of the Mountaineering Federation. The purpose of climbing in the Albanian Alps is not only related to sport, but also to the promotion of mountain tourism in our country. (A2 Televizion)
