More and more Italian teachers are joining the platform OnlyFans, where adult content is published for a fee. For this reason, the Ministry of Education in Italy is working on the drafting of an official code of ethics for all school personnel, writes A2 CNN. The regulation will be in line with the Code of Conduct for public employees, according to which they must avoid statements, images or comments that could damage the image of the administration.
The case of Elena Maraga, a preschool teacher in Treviso, has brought the issue back into the spotlight. Maraga, 29, is also a bodybuilder and has an active profile on OnlyFans. The Italian Federation of Preschool Schools (FISM) of Treviso has begun drafting a code of ethics that will regulate the behavior of teachers on social networks. The document will be put to a vote on April 30.
Simonetta Rubinato, president of FISM Treviso, stressed that “courtesy and privacy must be part of every teacher’s identity.” She emphasized that this is a delicate discussion, which is being handled with care to protect both the children and the teachers themselves. (A2 Televizion)
