A road traffic sign, which was initially used in France and has now begun to be placed on the roads of Spain and Portugal, has caused confusion among drivers.
This sign was first used in 2011 in France, which warns of an imminent risk of loss of visibility due to fog, rain, snow or smoke, writes A2 CNN.
According to the General Directorate of Traffic in Spain, the P33 sign is slowly replacing the previous fog hazard sign, known as R-120, which also features a car surrounded by small black dots.
Another road traffic sign that is also confused by some drivers is P35. Like P33, this sign is square with a red frame, and its image depicts two cars driving in parallel with two intersecting arrows emerging from them.
This sign is also known as the intersecting lane sign and warns of the danger of approaching a dividing road, where the trajectories of cars intersect, increasing the risk of accidents. (A2 Televizion)
