Miley Cyrus recently ended up in intensive care after suffering a serious knee infection while filming her "Something Beautiful" music video on the Hollywood Walk of Fame overnight. The singer said she developed a "brutal infection" in her knee after filming it while twirling around the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
"I shot the music video in October and by November I was in intensive care," the 32-year-old singer told Jimmy Kimmel Live, writes A2 CNN.
"I had taken something and my leg started to fall apart," she added, revealing that the doctor who treated her was shocked by what he saw.
According to experts, infections like the singer's are rare, although a scratch and unsanitary outdoor conditions, such as a busy street like the Hollywood Walk of Fame, are enough to cause the serious health problem that sent her to intensive care, reports A2 CNN.
Despite the setback, the project is moving forward. “Something Beautiful” will premiere in US theaters on June 12, and the accompanying album will be released this Friday, May 30. (A2 Televizion)
