Numerous police forces have surrounded the Constitutional Court in North Macedonia, where the legality of the law on the use of languages is being assessed today.

DUI, on the eve of the hearing, launched an initiative called "language guard" with a 24-hour presence in front of the Constitutional Court, with which they say they stand in "protection of the Law on Languages".

Speaker Gordana Siljanovska Davkova told party leaders to refrain from commenting on the Constitutional Court's decision on the Law on Languages, while Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski had a message for citizens not to fall for DUI's provocations.

The activists of the Democratic Union for Integration in the opposition gathered in front of the Constitutional Court on December 8, who, as party official Arbër Ademi has announced, will stay until the hearing on the Law is held.

Ademi said that with the "Language Guard" initiative, with a 24-hour presence in front of the Constitutional Court, they stand in "protection of the Law on Languages". (A2 Televizion)
