The former Albanian deputy prime minister in North Macedonia, Artan Grubi, reacted on social networks after the decision of the US State Department, which declared him "undesirable", for significant corruption, in the case of interference in a judicial process.
Grubi wrote on social networks that he supports the protection of western democratic values, as he adds that he will go to the end of this issue to make it transparent.
"In the absence of detailed information, I learned from the media about today's decision of the State Department. As a person who has dedicated my public life to the defense of western democratic values and who has always worked with dedication for the country's membership in NATO and the European Union, this decision affects me directly and personally.
I will commit myself with all the dedication and to the maximum, together with our friends and partners, with whom we have shared the vision and worked over the years for the integration of the country in the Euro-Atlantic structures, to fully clarify this issue. Transparency and commitment to democratic values will continue to be the main pillar of my every action", writes Grubi.
