Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić met with Russian Ambassador Aleksandar Bochan Kharchenko immediately after nominating the candidate for prime minister.
According to the official announcement, they discussed the current political situation in Belgrade and the security situation in the region, writes A2 CNN.
"We talked about our bilateral cooperation, as well as the broader context of international relations with particular emphasis on the stability of the Western Balkans. I emphasized that maintaining peace and stability is of key importance for Serbia and reiterated our constructive stance with all partners," the Serbian president himself announced in a statement on social networks.
