The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, has estimated that the coming year 2024 will be the most difficult in the modern history of Serbia, saying that he fears possible unrest in Republika Srpska and Kosovo.
"I'm afraid that this year will bring us many more conflicts and disturbances than the previous one, including this one, I mean any kind of threat in Republika Srpska, in Kosovo and in other parts of the region," said Vucic .
Vucic, justifying this assessment, stated that elections are being held in Taiwan in January, at the end of 2024 in the US, and these elections, together with the Russian, possibly Ukrainian, "will present an opportunity for changes or an establishment of cloud of values at the global political level".
According to him, these changes will take place in the age of social networks, when the most important thing has become worshiping opinion or gaining likes, and therefore he fears that the year 2024 will be "much worse for the world".
In this context, he explained that there were dilemmas on how to direct state and national politics, but also that buying time in the impossible attempt to reach a compromise is "better than giving up what you can't give up". . (A2 Televizion)
