Various cities in Serbia are turning against President Aleksandar Vučić. They are even taking decisions that embarrass him.
Ten years after the Serbian president received the title of honorary citizen of Novi Pazar, the residents of that city unanimously decided to ask the municipal assembly with an official letter to strip Vučić of that title.
A similar request has been made by the opposition in Leskovac, arguing that the president is currently closer to the title of persona non grata.
Such a punishment has been implemented by citizens from Pirot, near Serbia's border with Bulgaria and Kosovo, considering Aleksandar Vučić an unwanted person in their city.
Some protesters in Čačak also declared the Serbian president and parliament speaker persona non grata, because as stated, they are people who spread hatred and divide the people.
Analysts interviewed by Nova media point out that this is a clear indication that Vučić is currently in free fall as a political figure.
Earlier, N1 television, CNN's partner in Serbia, emphasized in an analysis that Vučić is now acting like dictator Slobodan Milošević, who turned on the people and destabilizing actions in the region before being ousted from power.
As if to confirm this, the president himself has issued a direct threat to those he considers opponents.
"I'm afraid that something bad has started to appear in me, in my head, and that is how to get back at all those who have done so much harm to me, my family, my children and everyone," was Vučić's threat. (A2 Televizion)
