Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has been forced to abruptly cut short his visit to the United States after feeling unwell. Vučić had been there for a few days, and after meetings with American officials, he was also expected to hold a conversation with President Donald Trump.
But as Serbian media reported, on Friday afternoon he began to feel unwell; he sought medical attention and later decided to return to Belgrade. The President's Office said it would inform the public in the coming days about the exact nature of the situation.
Trump's special envoy for missions, Richard Grenell, made an announcement on his social media profile "X" after it was announced that Vucic had cut short his visit to the US for health reasons.
Grenell said he regretted not meeting with Vucic and wished him a speedy recovery. (A2 Televizion)
