Vucic expects serious consequences, America sanctions the Serbian oil industry

The United States of America has imposed sanctions on the Serbian oil industry, due to the Russian ownership of Gazprom.

This was confirmed by President Aleksandër Vucic himself, who confirmed that he has been officially notified of the decision that comes into effect on January 1, but he has not yet seen a document. "We must first talk to the Americans, get the letter.

We also have some kind of official confirmation, but we need to see the documents. After we read them, we will talk to the Americans first, then we will go and talk to the Russians", says Vucic.

The Serbian president warned of serious consequences if something does not change in the American decision. However, he refused to impose sanctions against Russia, which is also requested by the European Union, in addition to America.

"I am not ready at this moment to discuss possible sanctions against Moscow", he said, announcing that he will try to maintain the relationship with his historical ally, but also those with the USA.

Vucic added, among other things, that he expects the United Kingdom to join the US sanctions against the Serbian oil industry. (A2 Televizion)
