At least 12 people have been killed and 30 others injured after a suicide attack on a military base in northwestern Pakistan.
Two suicide bombers blew up part of the wall of the military compound, allowing several other attackers to enter, who clashed with security forces in fierce clashes.
The attack took place in the city of Bannu, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, and was claimed by a group affiliated with the Pakistani Taliban.
Authorities have launched investigations, while the increase in violence in the region remains a major concern. (A2 Televizion)
