At least 202 health workers have been killed in the Gaza Strip since October 7 and 200 have been injured. This was announced by the authorities of the Palestinian enclave, international media reports.
The death toll includes doctors, nurses and paramedics. A total of 25 hospitals and 52 medical centers were eliminated by heavy Israeli bombardment of the enclave, Hamas authorities said. According to them, more than 60 ambulances have been attacked and 55 are out of service.
Out of 35 hospitals, 9 are partially functional. The rest are out of service.
The Palestinian death toll as of Wednesday was 11,470, of which 4,407 were children. More than 29,000 people were injured.
At al-Shifa hospital, 40 patients, including three premature babies, have died since November 11 due to a lack of fuel. (A2 Televizion)
