Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has left the hospital after suddenly feeling unwell. Doctors from the Belgrade Military Hospital say the Serbian head of state is in satisfactory condition.

Aleksandar Vučić suddenly fell ill and consequently cut short his visit to the US "due to health problems", writes A2.

The same situation has occurred with Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico in recent days, who repeatedly canceled announced public appearances, which caused speculation about his "deteriorating health condition."

Both leaders have announced their participation in the military parade in Moscow on May 9, which raises the question of whether Vučić and Fico are looking for an excuse not to go to Russia, given the criticism and pressure from the European Union not to participate in Putin's parade amid Russian aggression against Ukraine.

Vučić had previously announced that he planned to travel to Moscow next week for a military parade marking Victory Day. The announcement drew criticism and pressure from the EU, which expects candidate and member states to refrain from participating in events organized by Russia. At the same time, the Slovak prime minister has suddenly "cancelled" his working hours several times in recent days, Slovak television station TV Noviny reported.

Robert Fico did not appear at the planned May Day celebrations in the town of Velke Zaluzhye. “The work schedule of the Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fico for May 1 has been canceled,” an official statement from the Slovak government said, without giving further details. The mayor of Velke Zaluzhye, Milan Biro, said they had not received any information about the reason for the cancellation. This is not the first time that Fico has changed his schedule at the last minute. In April, he canceled a press conference and lecture in the UK.

Former Czech President Miloš Zeman later revealed that the reason was a deterioration in his health after an assassination attempt last year. It is still unknown whether Vučić and Fico will attend the parade scheduled for May 9 in Moscow. (A2 Televizion)
