Two young people lost their lives and 5 others were seriously injured as a result of a road accident that occurred on Friday evening in the Reggio Emilia region of Italy.
The accident involved 3 small cars and a truck loaded with metal scaffolding, the driver of which quickly left the scene, to be arrested a few hours later by the police.
It is about a 39-year-old man from Reggio Emilia, who was traveling without a driver's license, after it was suspended a few months ago due to alcohol consumption.
The accident happened on the provincial road 111 in the locality of Caprara, in the Reggio Emilia municipality of Campegine. The truck, for unclear reasons, lost its load of steel components for construction scaffolding, which crashed into one car and hit the other two.
After the violent collision, the truck left, but police officers managed to identify it and locate it, making it possible to arrest the 39-year-old. (A2 Televizion)
