US President Donald Trump said the US is meeting with many countries, including China, on trade deals and his top priority with China was securing a fair trade deal.
Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One that he had no plans to speak with Chinese President Xi Jinping this week, but US officials were talking to Chinese officials about a number of different things.
Asked if any trade deal would be announced this week, Trump said it could be "very good," but did not provide details.
The White House chief suggested he did not expect to reach a deal with some countries, but could instead "impose a certain tariff" on those trading partners in the next two to three weeks. (A2 Televizion)
