Two employees of the port of Piraeus in Greece were arrested on suspicion of being part of an international group that trafficked cocaine-type narcotics.
They were arrested in flagrante delicto as they were taking packages of cocaine out of containers of exotic fruits that had arrived from Latin America late at night.
The coast guard seized 24 kg of narcotic substances from them, while after the controls in other cargoes another 58 kg were found, bringing the total of seized cocaine to 82 kg.
As part of the same investigation, the police seized and checked a total of 50 containers that arrived in Piraeus from Ecuador on this route. Meanwhile, investigations continue to find other persons involved in this criminal activity. (A2 Televizion)
