A video of the Trump-Zelensky Oval Office debate went viral on X, the social network owned by Elon Musk. The video has garnered millions of views on social media, becoming popular within an hour of the Ukrainian president being asked to leave the White House.
Although it is difficult to give an exact measurement, given the variety of versions and common angles, it is possible to provide some data, ANSA reports.
According to social media expert Franz Russo, the first clip published by the American network CSpan, dedicated to political issues, has exceeded 30 million views on X, taking into account content shares from the most followed accounts.
"A short clip posted by Musk on his platform has reached 89 million views. Adding these and other contributions, even taking into account possible overlaps, it is plausible that the total on X exceeds 150 million views, based on the data collected," Russo added.
Videos on social media published by major international newspapers have reached over 10 million views in a few hours.
On YouTube, the importance was less.
Russo's analysis shows that Fox's video has received 1.5 million views, while "The Telegraph's" has 2.8 million, KosovaPress reports.
"It's interesting that X is surpassing video platforms like YouTube in terms of the speed and volume of views at events like this. This shows how important X can be for Musk and, at this moment in history, for Trump," he emphasizes. Kosovapress. (A2 Televizion)
