122 people, including 83 children, have died in the Gaza famine. President Donald Trump says the deal between Israel and Hamas has failed, with Hamas refusing to accept the terms. According to Trump, Israel must now finish its work in Gaza.
And as Gaza faces a hunger crisis, US President Donald Trump said that the Palestinian militant group Hamas did not want to make a deal for a ceasefire and the release of hostages in Gaza.
"They backed out in terms of negotiations. It was very bad. Hamas didn't really want to make a deal. I think they want to die and it's very, very bad. And things got to a point where now you have to finish the job," Trump said.
The comments come as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel was now considering "alternative" options to achieve its goals of bringing its hostages home from Gaza and ending Hamas rule in the territory. Meanwhile, President Trump also weighed in on France's decision to recognize Palestine.
"Well, that's what he does. If he does that, that's up to him. It's not up to me. I'm with the United States. I'm not with France."
