The outgoing emissary of the European Union for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajçak, has stated that he is proud of the cooperation of the EU with the United States of America during his mandate.
Through a post on the 'X' social network, he wrote about the meeting with the US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for the Western Balkans, Alexander Kasanof, and Assistant Secretary James O'Brien.
"My first mission in 2025 took me to the USA. In Washington DC I had a comprehensive discussion on the Western Balkans with Kasanof.
I am proud of the excellent EU-US cooperation during my mandate", he wrote, writes A2 CNN.
The European Union a day ago confirmed that it is in the process of selecting Lajcak's successor.
He will be in the post of facilitator in the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue until the end of January. (A2 Televizion)
