A powerful earthquake was recorded shortly before midnight in Greece, causing panic among residents, some of whom abandoned their homes.
The earthquake with a magnitude of 6 on the Richter scale was recorded in Karpathos, in the Dodecanese islands region.
So far, no damage or injuries have been reported, while several aftershocks of lesser magnitude were recorded later. (A2 Televizion)
