The former president of the United States of America, Bill Clinton, was admitted to a hospital in Washington, DC, to undergo some tests due to fever.
According to spokesman Angel Urena, Clinton is in good condition and hopes to return home before Christmas. Urena added that the former president remains in good spirits and is grateful for the excellent care he is receiving.
Clinton was taken to MedStar Georgetown University Hospital from his home in Washington and is expected to stay at least one night for observation. His condition has been described by co-workers as not urgent or serious.
After leaving the White House nearly a quarter of a century ago, Clinton has had several health concerns.
In 2004, he underwent quadruple heart surgery and a year later experienced a partial lung collapse.
In 2010, he underwent another heart procedure, when two stents were placed in a coronary artery. (A2 Televizion)
