A 23-year-old woman, identified as Jung Yoo-jung, stabbed a woman 100 times in a case that shocked South Korea. She was obsessed with crime and detective series. The court sentenced the 23-year-old to life imprisonment, while she admitted that she had killed him out of curiosity.

Wanting to commit "murder" at all costs, she used an app to meet an English teacher and then bludgeoned her to death at her home in May. The brutal killing has shocked South Korea. Jung, who lived with her grandfather, had been searching for victims for months, using an online application to track down her target.

According to Korean media , she contacted more than 50 people and focused on women. In May, posing as the mother of a high school girl who needed English lessons, she contacted the 26-year-old victim, who lived in the southeastern city of Busan. Her identity has not been released by the police.

Jung then showed up at the teacher's house wearing a school uniform she had bought online, prosecutors said. After the teacher let her in, she attacked her by stabbing her more than 100 times.
