Israel has accused the United Kingdom, France and Canada of being on the "wrong side of history".
According to foreign media, the leaders of the three countries threatened yesterday that Israel will face consequences, including sanctions, if it does not stop its latest military offensive in Gaza and does not increase the flow of aid to the civilian population there.
Hamas praised the Western states' statement as a "step in the right direction," prompting a response from Israel's official social media account 'X' moments ago.
"When you praise Hamas - a jihadist terrorist organization that kills children and rapes women - you are on the wrong side of history. What a shame," it was written on Israel's official page on the social network 'X'. (A2 Televizion)
