The head of Iran's Revolutionary Guards' intelligence, Mohammad Kazemi, and his deputy have been killed in an airstrike carried out by Israel, the Iranian state news agency Tasnim reports.
According to foreign media, Kazemi headed the IRGC Intelligence Organization, one of the two main national security agencies in Iran.
After the casualties of previous days, his death represents a serious blow to Iranian security structures.
It is also known that this attack is part of a broader Israeli campaign targeting strategic Iranian targets, including military bases and key figures in the nuclear program.
