Former boxer Vitali Klitschko, currently the mayor of Kyiv, wrote on Telegram on Saturday morning that Russia attempted to attack the Ukrainian capital with Shahed kamikaze drones.
According to the former boxer, this is the biggest Russian attack with Iranian drones in Ukraine. However, according to him, the Ukrainian defense reacted by shooting down the drones, but at least 2 people were injured after being hit by parts of the aircraft. Meanwhile, "skynews" reports that a big fire started in a nursery, but fortunately no one was injured.
A day ago, 4 people were killed as a result of the latest Russian bombings in the southern region of Kherson in Ukraine. Local Ukrainian authorities said Russian forces shelled the town of Beryslav, killing a man riding a bicycle. In a massive bombardment of several civilian settlements in the suburbs of Kherson, two men and a woman were killed while others were injured.
