Kenyan Archbishop Anthony Muheria has said that with the death of Pope Francis, the world has lost a 'champion' of migrants.
"There is no doubt that the world has lost a champion in mercy, a champion in caring," says Kenyan Archbishop Anthony Muheria after the funeral of Pope Francis, foreign media write.
For Pope Francis, the issue of dignity for migrants was extremely important throughout his papacy, writes A2 CNN.
"In Kenya, we have seen what happened in South Sudan," he continues, referring to the civil war that gripped South Sudan for many years.
"We try to welcome them," he continues, referring to migrants entering Kenya from neighboring countries, adding "but maybe we don't treat them with enough humanity."
"It's not just about welcoming them, but also about restoring their dignity," he concludes. (A2 Televizion)
