In Mannheim, Germany, police have urged citizens to avoid the city center due to a major police operation.
According to information from BILD, a driver drove into a pedestrian zone and cut through a crowd of people who were walking.
It is still unclear whether it was an accident or an attack. So far, one death and several injuries have been reported, writes A2 CNN.
According to BILD, the driver of the car has been arrested. All roads and bridges leading out of the city are being checked by police with automatic weapons and a helicopter is flying over Mannheim. The police have asked that a large area of the city be avoided. (A2 Televizion)
