Summit held in Kiev on the occasion of the 3rd anniversary of the war, Ukrainian

The very presence of world leaders in Kiev this morning should be seen as a "huge victory" for Ukraine, one of the country's MPs tells Sky News.

According to foreign media, EU leaders have joined other leaders from Europe and Canada for a summit marking the third anniversary of the full Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Speaking this morning, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine now has "more friends in the world than ever before."

Ukrainian MP Oleksiy Goncharenko said he agreed with Zelensky, telling host Darren McAffrey that Vladimir Putin would never have believed that Kiev could still be hosting world leaders three years after the start of the war.

"This is a big victory for all of us who are still standing," he says, writes A2 CNN.

What about the morale of Ukrainians after three years of war with Russia? "We are exhausted, we are tired," he says, writes A2 CNN.

"But Ukrainians are all united around our victory. It's not that we are united around any politician, we are united around our country, around our survival." (A2 Televizion)
