The ceremony in honor of Ramy Elgaml, the 19-year-old who died on November 24 after an accident in the Corvetto district of Milan during a police chase, has led to clashes between young people and law enforcement.

After throwing cigarettes, bottles and stones at the police vans, the Blues reacted by arresting the participants in the protest.

The clashes took place in Piazza dei Sanniti in the San Lorenzo neighborhood, where four officers were injured. During the clashes, the explosion of a Molotov bomb broke the window of a police vehicle.

In Milan, during a procession again in memory of Ramy, an action took place against the Prefecture, where red paint was thrown on the ground and a banner "Ramy killed by state racism" was unfurled.

"Red areas are discriminated against and ghettoized and we don't want to live as defendants in an endless trial, we want to live free," said the protesters. (A2 Televizion)
