Tensions and moments of chaos prevailed in the Israeli parliament this morning as family members of some 240 hostages called for a law to impose the death penalty on Palestinian terrorists.
"Stop talking about killing Arabs and start talking about saving Jews ," said a relative of one of the hostages, prompting reactions from members of the far-right Otzma Yehudi party.

"Pain is not your monopoly. We have also buried more than 50 friends and acquaintances", said another deputy of the party.
But after many debates, the law was not approved because according to the Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben Gvir, something like this would endanger the lives of the Israeli hostages.
