Russian President Vladimir Putin today presented the nuclear-powered submarine "Perm", participating in the launching ceremony of the new "beast" of the Russian naval fleet.
This is a new generation submarine, which is equipped with Zircon supersonic missiles with a range of approximately 900 kilometers.
"Perm" is the sixth Yasen-class submarine and was built by Sevmash near Murmansk.

According to Reuters, Russian agencies, citing documents related to the launch, reported that the ship's construction specifications differed little from previous models of the same class.
